It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that Playstream will be closing its Bald Hills office as of December 14th, 2024. This decision has not been made lightly, and I want to express my deepest gratitude for the trust you’ve placed in us to support your children. Playstream Pty Ltd was born from a deep belief that high quality paediatric and family services shouldn’t be an anomaly. Trusted guidance and family support should be part of the plan. We are excited to announce that we have hired a new speech language pathologist! We still have some appointments available during school hours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

Occupational Therapy
In paediatric occupational therapy, we strive to increase the level of independence for children of all ages with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges.
Circle of Security
Circle of Security allows early childhood professionals to think beyond a child's immediate behavior and meet their genuine relationship needs beyond their immediate behavior.
Speech Therapy
Playstream speech language pathologists work with children who have difficulties in areas such as speech sounds, language development, fluency, voice production, and feeding and swallowing.
Early Intervention
The NDIS indicates that early childhood intervention is all about giving children with developmental delay or disability, and their families, supports to enable the child to have the best possible start in life.
Feeding Clinic
Playstream feeding clinic offers mealtime support through a multidisciplinary approach that combines Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy.
What we can help with
School Readiness
School readiness refers to whether a child is ready to make an easy and successful transition into school. Skills required for school can include; prewriting skills, scissor skills, fine motor, gross motor and social skills
Handwriting
A child needs to have sufficient manual dexterity, fine motor coordination and visual motor skills for handwriting. Areas such as letter formation, reversals, speed, legibility, pencil grip, reducing pain and/or fatigue may be addressed.
Fine Motor Skills
Gross Motor Skills
Involve the large muscles of the body that are important for major body movement such as sitting, walking, jumping, and throwing a ball.
Social and Play Skills
Are used in everyday play, such as threading, using puzzles as well as the imaginative, social and communication requirements.
