Allied Health Appointments Start Here

Welcome to Playstream.  We are so excited that you would like to make an appointment.  Fees for our initial consultations are $100 for 30 minutes and $193.99 for 1 hour. Additional fees may apply for report writing, documentation review and other services but we will always discuss this before completing and billing for the work. 

Please fill out our initial questionnaire and be sure to include your preferred days/times for an appointment.  Once we receive your completed questionnaire, we will contact you to finalise an appointment time. 

Fee Schedule

60 minutes occupational therapy session (minimum of 45 minutes with occupational therapist and then up to 15 minutes for documentation and other tasks related to the appointment) – $193.99

30 minutes occupational therapy session (minimum of 20 minutes with occupational therapist and then up to 10 minutes for documentation and other tasks related to the appointment) – $100.00

Our fees for appointments (unless stated otherwise) include: time with the occupational therapist, preparation time, clean up time, documentation (for each individual appointment) as well as follow-up emails and phone calls as necessary.

Payment Options

Payment is due at the time of your appointment for all clients except plan managed NDIS clients.   If you are plan managed we are happy to invoice your plan manager directly for payment.  We require payment at the time of service for all other clients.  We will provide a paid invoice for services rendered within 24 hours of payment which can be used for rebates and reimbursements from NDIS, Medicare or your private health insurance.

For information about rebate amounts or health insurance coverage you will need to contact your private health insurance company directly.

If you do not have private health insurance but need financial support  you can ask your GP if a care plan would be an option.  The Medicare care plan offers a rebate for up to 5 appointments per calendar year.  For more information about the Medicare plans click here: https://www1.health.gov.au/internet/main/publishing.nsf/Content/health-medicare-allied-health-brochure.htm

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We understand that unplanned issues can arise, and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We respectfully ask that parents/caregivers contact Playstream on (07) 3639 0156 during business hours or email us on admin@playstream.com.au outside of business hours.

Clients must give at least 2 days (48 hours) notice,  before the start time of their appointment, to avoid being charged.   The cancellation fee within 24 hours of the appointment is 100% of the appointment fee.  24-48 hours is 50% of the appointment fee.  No shows will automatically be charged the full-service fee. Our allied health professionals want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our clients. When a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment, other clients lose the opportunity to be seen.

Social Story
