Kathleen Conti

Owner / Business Manager

Kathleen returned to Brisbane in 2022 after 23 years in the USA, where she worked in a number of information technology related business enterprises. Together with Pippa van Wijk, Playstream was opened in early 2022, with the vision of providing flexible, supportive Allied Health options that would help families more easily access services.  Utilising Pippa’s extensive experience working in Allied Health, Playstream has thrived.

Continuing Playstream on her own in 2023, Kathleen has established a team of therapists who share her goals and vision, and believe in the value of working with children and their families at critical stages of their development. Using her knowledge and experience in business management, and her belief in the importance of paediatric Allied Health, Kathleen’s goal is to create a multidisciplinary team who can be a one-stop shop for families seeking services and support for their children.

Kathleen loves coming to work every day to collaborate with amazing and talented people and help families and carers manoeuvre through the complexities of guiding and supporting children to be their best.

When not working Kathleen keeps very busy with her three teenagers but also loves to travel, play tennis, and catch up with friends.

Hi, my name is Angie. I am a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with experience in mental and physical conditions such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy and genetic disorders. I have worked in various settings including community, home, school and clinics in South America and Australia. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, which has taught me that each culture has its unique characteristics, but all have the same desire to help their children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. I firmly believe teamwork is essential to achieving a child’s goals, and I am committed to working closely with allied health professionals, parents and teachers to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child. I take pride in my ability to provide compassionate care and support to every child and family that I work with.I am originally from Colombia and moved to Australia five years ago. I enjoy meeting people from different cultural backgrounds, travelling, dancing, and trying new food.
